Friday Folders

Our Gladys McDonald Family wants to keep in touch each and every week with all of our families. Each child has received a classroom agenda for you to correspond with your child’s classroom teacher, note special dates, appointments and concerns. Your child should be using the agenda to note work that needs to be completed at home. This agenda should be reviewed, signed and return with the child each day.

The left-hand side of the Friday Folder will hold important information for parent/guardian review or important documents for your review and signature that must be returned to school on Monday. The right-hand side of the folder will have two pieces of work that your child completed during the school week and is most proud of. Please find a place on the fridge to proudly display your child’s work. Also, in the right-hand side of the folder will be work that your child did not find time to complete during the week of school. Please encourage your child to complete the work. They may need your guidance and time set aside to get it done. This work is due and to be returned in the folder to your child’s classroom teacher each Monday morning.
